Software Systems, Inc. has developed a completely integrated, interactive Financial Management System (FMS) designed to provide the information required to enable administrators and managers of Indiana school corporations to efficiently manage their resources. FMS operates on industry standard operating system platforms, and conforms to open architecture concepts. The system conforms to generally accepted accounting principles, and has been approved by the Indiana State Board of Accounts. FMS provides extensive audit trails to ensure the integrity of the data. The module concept allows our customers to choose the products required to fill their particular needs initially, then expand these systems as future requirements dictate.
Our financial management system has two major components. Budgetary accounting specifically for Indiana schools and Payroll/HR designed for Indiana schools. The payroll and human resources application maintains all information necessary to process payroll including maintenance of teacher contracts.
